Arniston is a small seaside town in the Overberg region on the Cape South coast, close to Cape Agulhas – the southernmost tip of Africa. At first only a fishing community, Arniston has become an attractive holiday destination. The fishing village, characterised by its lime-washed and thatched houses, remains unspoiled and has been declared a national monument in its entirety. Whale watching is a popular tourist activity, while the Arniston Hotel is an appealing tourist destination offering gorgeous ocean views.

Bossieveld is a comfortable house sleeping twelve guests, and is situated in Harbour Street on the way to Roman Beach. The house is on the beach (safe for swimming) and is a 5-minute walk from Roman Beach and the Harbour.
